Rubik's Cube Algorithm Library
Quick reference cards for all essential beginner triggers, cross algorithms, OLL orientation moves, and PLL permutation moves.
1. Essential Triggers
The core 4-move building blocks used throughout the Layer-by-Layer method.
Righty Trigger
The most fundamental 4-move sequence. Used to insert corners and permute edges.
Lefty Trigger
Left-handed version of the trigger. Used for left-side corner insertion.
2. Cross & Middle Layer Formulas
Used in Steps 3 and 4 to build middle edges and the top yellow cross.
Move Edge Right (Middle Layer)
Drops top layer edge piece down to right middle slot.
Move Edge Left (Middle Layer)
Drops top layer edge piece down to left middle slot.
Yellow Cross Formula (F R U R' U' F')
Transforms Dot to L-Shape, L-Shape to Horizontal Line, and Line to Yellow Cross.
Sune (Orient Corners)
Swaps top yellow edges to align with side center colors.
4. PLL: Last Layer Permutation
Algorithms to swap top corners and edges into their solved positions.
Niklas Algorithm (Corner Cycling)
Cycles 3 corner pieces into their correct corner slots.
Corner Orient Trigger
Executed with cube upside down (White on Top) to flip yellow corner stickers facing down.
Practice Algorithms with Live Tools
Build your fingertrick speed and integrate algorithms into full solves.
Speedcubing Timer
Time your trigger execution speeds with inspection and stats.
